This morning
Meema came over to watch the boys so Mike, Courtney and I could head downtown to winter fest. they had an ice maze and Sledding off the
skyway off ramp. The sledding was fun, but would have been even more fun if they let us sled from the top of the
skyway down. It was only 300 feet and not very steep, so we had to keep running and jumping on. But it was fun anyway. We went to the Pearl Street bar and grill for breakfast and it was decent too. We were supposed to go to the pancake breakfast, but the wait was over 30 minutes long, so we went down to their cafe and had breakfast sandwiches, much better and
alot cheaper too. Breakfast ended up filling up enough calories for both breakfast and lunch!
LOL After breakfast we got in the long line to sled, then went over to the ice maze. It was a maze alright. Actually in the center of it, was an ice
sculpture of a Buffalo, however, we never made it to center?? I have no idea how we managed that one, but we did. The weather was perfect for
winter fest, it was about 31 and snowing like crazy. We got about 6-8 inches over the past 24 hours, and it never stopped snowing this morning, so it was a nice ambiance! :-) It was nice to get out with just Courtney too, that doesn't happen very often.
Courtney & I all bundled and ready to go!
