This is an old draft I JUST found from Last December. Funny I find it today though, and that I didn't post it then. This storm in the pictures, actually started exactly one year ago today on December 2, 2010! How funny. Today we sit here, with no snow At all yet {measurable anyway} and are lucky enough too, that we haven't turned our heat above 62 either! In an effort to cut cost and save $$ with Mike being laid off so early this year, we are using just our Electric Fireplace upstairs and the wood burning stove downstairs. it's works!! Most of the time the house is around 65-66 degrees, and if you get cooking or everyone is home, we can get it up to a good 67/68, even 69 some nights! With any luck we can keep this up for the next couple of weeks, however, my guess is once the snow starts to fly, the heat will have to be turned up to about 65 :-(.
So,.... enjoy these snowy pictures from one year ago today, and hopefully I won't have to post any like it anytime soon!
This ALL fell within about 12 hours. It started around 7:30/8:00pm, and by the time Mike got up for work at 5:00am, there was no going anywhere!
