I have been SO horrible at catching up on blogging lately!! The summer keeps us so busy the last thing I want to do is lock myself in the basement in front of the computer for hours at a time to update this. It would be easier to do from work, but of course, all the pictures are at home! We still have more Colorado Vacation pictures to share, in addition to Caden's birthday as well!
Colin has officially completed his first 6 weeks of school! He in the end adjusted really well at school, and has been pretty "off" NOT being at school the past week! He is looking forward to returning to school next Wednesday.
Caden has officially GRADUATED from his Theraputic Preschool and will be moving up to a 6:1:1 BOCES Kindergarden class at Alden Primary school next week!(he starts the day before Colin and Courtney do) He is both scared, nervous and excited (as are we) for this new chapter in his life. We've been in the same program for over 2 years with him, transiting to the school district is going to be new to all of us!
Courtney is officially BORED with summer and ready to start 8th grade (OMG!!) next week! She got her team assignment this past weekend and we've completed our school supply and clothing shopping as well. All we need now is the bus to come on the 8th!
Last weekend we took the kids to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and spent the day at African Lion Safari, we had a ton of fun, and took both their bus and our car through the reserve! We ALL enjoyed the monkey's running on top of our car. We also got to ride the elephants! We have a TON of pictures from this fun adventure, just need to find the time to get them loaded up on here!
This past weekend, we (Mike and our friend Jason) built a pond in the back yard. It turned out really nice(of course KYM picked out the "actual" pond. LOL :-)) and I KNOW Mike after many many years of wanting water in the back yard, is super excited that he now has his pond! Again, pictures in the future!
This coming weekend, we have the opportunity to go on a family camping trip!! This is something I've ALWAYS wanted to do with the boys, so when the opportunity arose, of course I jumped on it! Our gym, the YMCA, sponsers family camping weekends at their camp weona, about 45 mins from here. Because we are Y members already, we have a pretty reducded rate, that includes all of our lodging, activites and food!! 3 meals per day! We leave this Sat and come home monday late afternoon. I am super excited to do this and know this week is going to DRAG on waiting for it to come. Friends of ours will be coming with us too, and we are super excited to vacation with them again. (they were in Colorado with us as well) they have 3 children, the boys are both Caden/Colin's ages and their daugther is Courtney's age, so it works out perfectly!
So yes, we have been busy, and yes, I do know that i am close to being over a month behind on the blog, and yes, I PROMISE I will get to it!!
Oh yea.... did I forget to mention that it is football season again already? What does that mean?? Yep, Courtney is back to cheerleading practice 3 nights per week (since the begining of August!!) AND we even had our first game this past weekend as well. SO our Saturday's are now spent at the football field for a good 5+ hours. Anyone ever willing to watch the boys so both Mike and I could go to her games and cheer her on, please let us know! Its REALLY hard to bring them to the field for that amount of time. They get bored, we get frustrated and no one enjoys it, especially the coaches, who see two little guys trying to run onto the field! *yikes*

I am coping these from another blog, since it'll take me FOREVER to do it otherwise. I'll get to them all in time!
Ready for the wedding.
Hubby & I all spiffied up
The drive through the mountains on the way to the castle, nestled in the Foothills of Denver.
Castle Picture. This truley was a fairy tale wedding, castle, horse and carriage, the works!
A small piece of the castle ground. 2 ponds, and a moat surrounding the entire castle!
View from one of the castle roof's. It was 3 levels high. We had drinks on the 2nd roof and dancing on the 3rd roof.
One of the ponds. All natural fed with water. They tap into the natural water source as well to water the property.
One of many waterfalls
Great picture of the Castle. From the opposite side of the moat.
Hubby & Tom, the father of the Groom. Mike and mark (groom) have been friends since birth 35+years!
The amazing center pieces and table settings. It was picture perfect, literally!!
1/2 of the group was inside the castle and 1/2 was under the beautiful tent for dinner. Connected by open French doors
Kelle & Mark. It poured as the wedding was to begin, so after an hour of waiting, the girls decided what the heck, lets go out and mingle, then get married! Kelle is the most beautiful amazing thing I have ever met!
This is where the Cake {was} until the rain came, then it got moved in doors.
B & W picture of the grounds again. I like to take pictures, can you tell?? I didn't even come CLOSE to capturing the true beauty of this site!
Castle W/ Mountain view
How perfect of a sky?? the rain stopped long enough to get married, then 30 mins after ceremony, started raining again and never stopped! What an amazing god we have!
