BUSY WEEKEND!

This past weekend, Mike and I both had a 3 day weekend and we survivied it! :-) Ha! I say that only becuase Mike has not had more then 1 or 2 days off in a row in over 5 years, let alone 3 days! Gotta love working for a "normal" company huh? Unfortunaly he won't get paid for having all that time off, but at least he got to enjoy being home for a few days. Friday Meema took us all to the Strong Museum of Play in Rochester, NY. We had a ton of fun. Of course our camera power cord was still missing, so I could only take fuzzy pictures with my cell phone, but at least I got something to show for it. We got there just after 2 in the afternoon and stayed until 5ish. That short amount of time was plenty for us. Not only were the kids worn out, but we were just as much. All 3 of them did enjoy themselves. Near the end of it, they had a cute little store, and guess what we found in there?? Long skinny monkey's! We let Caden pick out a new monkey and he choose a black one that has a little baby attached. He was super cute, and of course is now wrapped up in the blanket with the other 7 or 8 "oo oo ah ah's " Colin of course got a froggy that ribbits. He LOVED it! HE hugged it the rest of the time and now sleeps with him. We call him ribbit, how approporate :-) After having fun playing, all of exhausted ones, piled into the car and headed back to Buffalo for dinner. A very late dinner. And the boys actually stayed awake the entire ride! We were shocked. We got back around 7 ish or so and didnt' get home from dinner until after 8:30. The boys then still didn't go to bed until around 10! What a day! *WHEW*
