Home Makeover Friday - Day 6

I was so excited to get down the new house again today, I swear I was having withdraw not going yesterday! We actually got visitor VIP passes to the reveal tomorrow, but I am not sure I'll be able to go. I feel bad leaving Mike all day first of all, then Courtney had Cheerleading tryouts at school, I have Angel Food Pick up and some minor things to get from the store as well as drop off the other cheer uniform at the dry cleaner. As much as I would love to be a part of the family's first glance ~ i am just not sure about it. Especially about the amount of people. I think I might wait until Sunday and drive down wtih Mike and the kids and walk around the neighborhood to get some pictures when it's all settled down. Tonight they are loading the house with the furniture and personal belongings and staging the area for the reveal tomorrow. Tons of work! Those guys are so amazing though and still friendly. I asked The assistant producer Cruz they call him when he sleeps and his response was "Sleep?" LOL they finish up here, have a week off then off to another town to make dreams come true!

Me and the cute little Extreme security guard stationed at Rhode Island and Plymouth. He was so cute with blue eyes and a nice southern accent. By the end of the week, he knew who we were, never even had to show ID - although the bright green vests may give it away?

This is a vacant house they were getting ready to demolish

If you've followed my posts over the past few days ~ you might remember they were scraping paint from this porch and pulling out the bunch - here is the finish product.

Another finished product - for sale now??

The New Garden at the corner of normal and Massachusetts. Remember what that looked like a few posted back?? Just a vacant lot with a bunch of dirt piles. How amazing!

All New concrete driveways and sidewalks everywhere!
The empty lot next door to the new house - they were going to put the community garden here, but in the end it turned out that someone has bought that property and are in the process of closing - so they just cleaned it up. In the picture they are leveling it getting ready to lay the new sod.
